  • Since our establishment in 1988, we have specialized in the development and manufacturing of shipboard, offshore, defense, and special-purpose cables. 

    We supply top-quality power, control, and telecommunication cables to global shipyards, shipping companies, and major domestic and international industrial sites.

  • It varies depending on whether the products are standardized or custom-ordered. 

    General standard specifications can be accommodated with flexible minimum quantities. 

    For custom-specification cables, the lead time typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, depending on raw material procurement and production schedules. 

    Urgent orders can be shortened through separate consultation.

  • For an accurate and rapid quotation, please provide the following technical details: 


    ① Cable standard/product name

    ② Conductor size and number of cores

    ③ Voltage rating

    ④ Required classification/marine certification types

    ⑤ Total required quantity in meters (m)


    Providing these allows us to issue budgetary or firm quotations as quickly as possible.

  • Shinki Cable’s shipboard and offshore cables have officially proven their reliability by acquiring certifications from the world's leading classification societies, including ABS, DNV, LR, BV, NK, KR, and RINA. We can also issue project-specific classification test certificates upon request.

  • All shipped products are fundamentally provided with our in-house Quality Assurance (QA) certificate and Mill Test Certificate (MTC), which include results for structural inspection, conductor resistance, and withstand voltage tests. 

    Upon customer request or project specifications, we also support third-party marine surveyor witness testing and the issuance of formal classification certificates.

  • Yes, we do. 

    In addition to products that meet global standard specifications, we possess the capabilities to design custom conductor configurations, insulation, and sheaths tailored to the technical specifications of each country and industry—including UL standards for the North American market, IEC/IEEE standards for European and global projects, and JIS standards for Japanese criteria.

  • To ensure cable longevity and operational safety, the allowable bending radius must be strictly observed during installation. 

    In general, a minimum of 6 times the cable overall diameter (6D) is recommended for fixed installations, and 12 times the overall diameter (12D) for dynamic or temporary routing. 

    For detailed values based on specific cable structures (such as armored vs. unarmored), Please submit an inquiry with your specifications, and our team will promptly provide the detailed technical data.

  • Our fire-resistant cables comply with IEC 60331 standards to ensure that signal and power supplies are maintained for a specific period during a fire. 

    Our flame-retardant cables are designed with an IEC 60332 structure that prevents the spread of fire. 

    These products are optimized for high-risk plant environments and vessel compartments with high fire hazards.

  • To reflect the volatility of copper prices, which account for a significant portion of cable manufacturing costs, we implement a price adjustment process linked to official London Metal Exchange (LME) cash prices and foreign exchange rates for large-scale projects or long-term supply contracts. 

    For standard quotations, a separate validity period is specified.

  • Cable drums must be stored vertically on flat ground in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture. 

    In particular, since moisture penetration through cut cable ends can degrade insulation performance, the cable ends must be thoroughly sealed with end caps or moisture-proof tape until installation.
